Athens Country Club Golf Course
Our challenging 18-hole golf course is enjoyable for the novice golfer as well as the more seasoned player. Active Men’s & Women’s Golf Associations sponsor tournaments throughout the year. Members may rent golf carts from the club or bring their own and pay a monthly trail fee. Golf lessons are provided by our golf professional. The putting green and driving range are convenient practice areas. To complete the links experience, the Club provides a Golf Professional, a trained pro shop staff, and a well stocked pro shop to meet golfers’ apparel and equipment needs.
Practice Facilities
We have a large MiniVerde putting green to help sharpen your putting skills. A chipping area is provided to allow practice in other areas of the short game. Our driving range provides an area for short- and long-iron practice. Our Golf Professional, Gaylord, Walden, offers lessons for both new and experienced golfers.

Mission: To promote the true spirit of the game of golf. To know the rules and etiquette of golf and obey them.
Meetings: The general meeting will be held the last Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. The first annual meeting will be held the last Wednesday of February. The last meeting of the year will be held on the third Wednesday of November at High Noon.
